ML Injector Not Working? 9 Fixes for the Most Common Problems

Injectors fail for a handful of boring reasons, and most of them are fixable in a few minutes. Work through the list in order. The order matters because the early steps are the cheapest and the most likely to solve it.

1. Restart the game properly

Force-stop Mobile Legends from Android settings, then open it again. Applying a skin while the game is still running can leave it reading cached files.

2. Re-apply the skin

Open the injector, select the hero and skin again and re-apply. If the tool has a "restore" button, use it first and then apply again.

3. Check that the game version and the injector version match

This is the number-one cause. Mobile Legends updates often, and injectors lag behind. Compare the date on your tool's listing with the date of the last game update. If the listing is months older, expect trouble. For example, Vinzz Tools shows a March 2026 listing update, while Ngulik ML Injector shows September 2024.

4. Look at storage access

If the injector says it cannot reach the game folder, you are probably hitting Android's storage restrictions. They are covered in our Android 13 and 14 guide.

5. "App not installed" error

Usually an older version with a different signature is already on the phone, or the file is corrupt. Uninstall the old version, re-download the APK from the same listing and compare the size. Also check there is enough free space.

6. Stuck on a loading screen or crashing

Remove the modified files using the tool's restore option, or clear the game's resource data, so Mobile Legends downloads clean copies. Then test again without the injector to confirm the game itself is healthy.

7. Only some heroes work

Skin libraries are never complete. A newly released skin may not be in the tool yet, and an old file may not match the current hero model. Try a different hero to test whether the tool works at all.

8. Do not stack tools

Leftover files from one injector can conflict with another. If you want to switch tools, restore the game to normal first, uninstall the old tool, then install the new one.

9. Know when to stop

If the game keeps crashing, forces re-downloads or you see account warnings, stop using the tool and restore the game. A cosmetic is not worth a flagged account. See the ban risk guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my skin not showing in the match?

Most often the game was updated, the files were not applied, or the game restored its resources. Re-apply, restart the game and check you opened the right hero.

Why does the game crash after I apply a skin?

The injected files probably no longer match the current game version. Remove the modification and wait for a compatible injector update.

Is it safe to keep trying different injectors one after another?

Avoid stacking tools. Leftover files from one can conflict with the next. Restore the game to normal before switching.
